Migratory Haven is a 290 acre farm listed on the National Historical Register. Located in Willsboro, NY with views of Lake Champlain to the east and the Adirondacks to the west. The lands to the farm were aggregated during the period of 1784-1853 when the Sheldon Family developed the farm and constructed many of the agricultural buildings.

The farm had a history of apple production, dairy cattle, sheep production, wheat, grasslands, timber and poultry. The lasts farmer to operate the farm was Jimmy Owens who died in 1985. Subsequent to Mr. Owens’ death the apple orchard bordering on the lake was subdivided into six lots and sold, the farm house and 6 acres and until recently operated as a bed and breakfast.

The remaining 290 acres was purchased by Reginald and Jenny where they built a home and now currently reside. A conservation easement on the property preserves the land for future generations. The owners granted a license to CATS (Champlain Area Trail System) allowing persons to walk on the trails through the forest.
